The Darkest Hour movie ending

The Darkest Hour movie features a bad movie ending. End of the world movies usually end with a clear resolution to portray the lead cast as tough characters who save the world. In the Darkest Hour movie ending, the screenwriter and the director fall short of delivering a good movie ending.

Sean, Vika and the Russian soldiers reach the Russian submarine. Nonetheless, Natalie is missing after the boat sinks. Sean convinces the Russian submarine operator to stall the departure to find Natalie.

The Russian soldiers, Sean, and Vika venture to a nearby building. The invisible invaders continue to devour the valuable natural resources. Sean fires the microwave gun at an invisible invader. The cheesy Alien is revealed in the forcefield bubble protecting it.

The Russian soldiers cover Sean. Sean finds Natalie in a bus. The Russian soldiers and Vika fight several invisible invaders with microwave guns, traditional weapons, and water.

Sean drives the bus to shake off one of the invisible invaders. Natalie is dragged by the leg, an events which previously resulted in his best friend's death. Sean terminates the Alien to save Natalie from getting devoured.

The Russian soldiers, Sean, Vika and Natalie return back to the Russian submarine. Thus, the Russian soldiers stay behind to continue fighting the invisible invaders. They request Sean to teach others how to fight the invisible invaders.

In the submarine, Sean, Natalie and Vika are relieved to escape the super invasion. A Russian submarine member repairs Natalie's phone. She checks her phone, finding a text message from her mother that claims they're safe. Natalie and Sean are about to kiss, but Vika displays that young adolescent behavior to think their moment is gross.

The Russian submarine crew, Sean and Natalie view a European map where nations are fighting against the invisible invaders. The end of the world movie abruptly ends.

The Darkest Hour movie ending never establishes a clear resolution. Are the humans capable of destroying the invisible invaders? Where do the invisible invaders come from? Can people possibly destroy thousands of invisible invaders? The Darkest Hour movie ending is terribly bad.

The Devil Inside movie ending: The Devil Inside movie ending in review

The Devil Inside movie ending

The Devil Inside movie generated $34.5 million in box office receipts a few weekends ago. However, The Devil Inside movie underwent an exorcism to exorcise the possession the exorcism movie had on the box office. What happened to The Devil Inside movie? The Devil Inside movie ending influenced the exorcism movie to lose box office business.

***Ending Spoiler***

Ben and Michael sit in the waiting room. Both of the two guys are in shock. Moments earlier, David shot a bullet through his mouth and his brains splattered across the wall. Somehow, the demons who possessed David jumped to Isabella. Maybe Isabella was already possessed prior to David mind-boggling suicide. It is likely the demons jumped from David to Isabella.

Ben realizes that Isabella must undergo an exorcism to exorcise the demons inside her. Apparently, the Maria Rossi exorcism exposed the crew to the four demons. Therefore, the demons manifested in the four characters, influencing a possessed David to blow his head off.

Isabella slices another woman's neck. She begins to bend backwards, obviously revealing that she is indeed possessed. Ben and Michael flee the scene Isabella created with cutting the woman's neck. We don't see Isabella's violence outburst, but only the reaction of her actions under demonic possession.

While driving on the freeway, A flustered Michael mentions to Ben that the woman is probably dead. Ben panics, telling Michael to drive faster. Isabella is incoherent, but slowly coming out of her trance to attempt a choke hold on Michael. Ben is trying his best to peel the possessed Isabella off Michael.

All of a sudden, Michael removes his safety belt. He accelerates the vehicle. We hope to watch one last exorcism on Isabella because most good exorcism movies perform exorcisms in the movie ending.

The Devil Inside movie ending is unlike past exorcism movies. Michael slams into another vehicle. In result, Ben, Isabella and Michael are tossed around the inside of the car. The screen fades to black, stating the Rossi case is unsolved. The filmmakers inform the audience to visit The Rossi Files to join the investigation.

The Devil Inside movie ending was terrible. Exorcism movies usually ends with one last exorcism to exorcise the demon (s). What happened to Maria Rossi? Is she experiencing multiple demonic possession? Isabella, Ben and Michael most likely died in the car accident.

A good The Devil Inside movie ending would be to show another emergency crew arriving at the accident scene. Maybe the demons could jump into one of the emergency workers or a police office. However, the best The Devil Inside movie ending would have been performing the last exorcism to reveal the name of the four demons who possessed Maria Rossi in the 1989 murders.

We never learn the names of the multiple demons like in The Rite, The Exorcist, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Last Exorcism, The Exorcist: The Beginning and most exorcism movies prior to The Devil Inside movie. The Devil Inside movie was a decent exorcism movie up until the car accident to end the movie.

In essence, The Devil Inside movie ending  impacted the box office ticket sales in the week following the record-breaking January opening due to lazy and uninspiring filmmaking, or a lack of production budget to close the exorcism movie with a good movie ending.
